2nd Day Post Surgery - 7:00 PM

2nd Day Post Surgery - 7:00 PM

Well we have had a myriad of visits from Cardiologists, Nurses, and Respiratory Therapists today.  From the sounds of things they plan on closing her chest up Thursday afternoon or Friday.  They are monitoring her swelling to determine when they will actually do it and because she is still pretty swollen so my personal guess is Friday.

There was a little change today as well they added a new suction pump to aspirate her chest.  Up to this point they have been doing this manually.

I found a compromise to my photo dilemma.  I have covered the chest with a washcloth so the graphic stuff is really not that visible but this still allows everyone to see how beautiful Lilee really is, even with all the wires and tubes.

It is truly amazing how modern medicine can sustain life, and how surgeons can even operate on such a tiny heart. (And the fact they could even find a defect BEFORE she was born!) It is a blessing to be alive at this time. And Lilee is so beautiful....what a little trooper : )

She is absolutely beautiful!  What an amazing miracle.  You family is in our prayers.

Thanks for keeping us updated.  We continue to pray for you and to be soooo grateful for all the miracles we have seen.  Afton, I think she has your feet. Smile

Lilee is truly beautiful - a little angel.  She is the perfect combination of you and Afton.  I think she has the same skinny little legs as the girls too and I absolutely love their legs!   And she is going to have a full gorgeous head of hair like Claire I think.  I love the rabbit next to her - it looks like it is whispering little prayers and your love in her ears - an ever watchful friend.

Hey Foltz family,

We were so glad we could come and spend some time with you and Lilee last night.  She's a little beauty and will soon be letting you know all about it.  We'll keep you in our prayers and hope you have peace in your hearts and a lighter burden on your shoulders.

She looks just like the rest - beautiful!  And her coloring looks amazing.  We have your website up at all times checking in to see her progress.  Thanks for doing it so we can see how well she is doing.  Your family is in our prayers.

Does anyone know  the fastest approach to lose weigtht from my thighs?  I truly hate my fat thighs

Does anyone know  the best approach to shake off fat from my thighs?  I truly can't bear my hideous thighs

I am the proud father of 6 Children (5 girls and 1 poor boy).  Our second youngest daughter was born with a heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS).  In a nutshell the left side of her heart never fully developed.  Hopefully this site will chronicle the progress she is making and everyone who is interested can keep up to date.
